The unique, innovative mechanical system
we designed for this 375,000 ft² exhibition center
utilizes the dryness of Utah’s desert climate
to reduce refrigeration costs by 75-80 percent over
conventional chilled-water systems. A computer model
of the South Towne Exposition Center predicts total
building energy savings to the owner of more than
$93,000 per year vs. conventional chilled-water cooling
systems.
