Natural History Museum of Utah

The Natural History Museum of Utah, open to the public in November of 2011, relied heavily on CFD analysis to prove and optimize the mechanical design of exhibit space and other building features that are open to the public. The museum includes large spaces that are open and adjacent to each other, creating some unique challenges toward maintaining strict temperature and humidity control requirements, as well as maintaining proper pressure relationships between the exhibit space, public spaces, and curatorial sections of the facility.
