Mr. Connor's career path in mechanical engineering
spans the last 20 years. He has been responsible for
the mechanical design and construction phases of a
variety of commercial buildings, including offices,
schools, libraries, hospitals, religious buildings,
recreational facilities and warehouses.
As a principal at Colvin Engineering Associates,
Mr. Connor has been a local influence in sustainable
design. He was the first engineer in Utah to be LEED
accredited and has worked on six LEED-registered projects.
He is active in the AIA Committee on the Environment
as organizer and speaker in the recent sustainable
design seminars. He has also served on the Salt Lake
City Mayor's High Performance Building Committee..
